Server Log Files / Automatic Data Storage

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server logfiles that your browser transmits. Hosting: This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen (Germany). A contract for processing services exists with the provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

Spam Protection (Akismet)

For spam message detection and prevention, we use the Akismet service by Automattic Inc. (USA). Upon form or comment submission, data such as input content, IP address, and browser information are transmitted to Akismet for checking against spam indicators.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in combating spam, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transmission to the USA takes place based on appropriate safeguards (including EU Standard Contract Clauses and/or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

Security (Wordfence)

To protect the website against attacks and misuse, we use the security software Wordfence (Defiant Inc., USA). This involves processing security-relevant data such as IP addresses and access patterns to detect and block harmful accesses (firewall).

Email sending

For the sending of emails (e.g., responses to inquiries), we use our own, self-operated email infrastructure. No forwarding of send data to external email service providers takes place. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable communication).

Google Analytics 4

This website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland – exclusively with your explicit consent. Google Analytics employs cookies and similar technologies to analyze website usage (e.g., visited pages, dwell time, approximate origin). Your IP address is also processed (in shortened form).

Purpose: Range measurement and improvement of offerings. Legal basis: Consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Sec. 25 para. 1 TDGD. Google Search Console / Google Site Kit

Font Types (Google Fonts – local)
