Software is not created in the specification, but in conversation with the people who carry out the process on a daily basis. This is precisely why the location is not an address detail for us: We travel under an hour to most of our customers in the Stuttgart area – and we travel there.

What we learned: The decisive sentences rarely fall in the meeting. They fall by the wayside when someone says that he replenishes the list by hand at the end anyway. Such sentences are not heard in the third video conference.

This depends on the cut, and serious numbers can only be named after a conversation. The drivers are almost always the same: scope of the specialist logic, number of interfaces to existing systems, requirements for security and verifiability as well as the question of whether a company is added after launch. After the initial call, you get a resilient range, not a house number.

For a first usable stand, we usually calculate in weeks, not months. We deliberately cut projects in such a way that something runable is created early on – this is the only reliable way to find out whether the requirements are right. The full scope is then gradually created.

Yes, completely. Source code, documentation, accesses and build pipelines are transferred to you. We deliberately do not install anything that makes it difficult to switch to another service provider. We prefer you to stay because the work is right.

Indeed, that is the rule. Sometimes we take on a delineated work package besides your own development, sometimes we build together and pass gradually. It is only important that the responsibilities are clear from the outset.

Then this is normal and not a problem. This is precisely why we work at short intervals with running intermediates: Changes are noticeable early on, as long as they are still favorable. What changes, we discuss openly – including the impact on effort and appointment.

In most cases, yes. At the beginning there is an inventory: how is the code procured, what is documented, how is delivered. Afterwards, we will honestly tell you whether further development makes sense or whether a gradual new building will ultimately be cheaper.

If you will, yes. We build solutions that run entirely in your infrastructure – in your own data center or in your private cloud. This also applies explicitly to AI parts: language models can be operated locally, so that no content goes to external providers.
